UBM Podcasts

In this episode we will reminisce a recent Ontario bear hunt that 4 of our members were able to embark on this past spring. Join, UBM secretary, Ryan Plummer, UBM President, William Brown, John White, and myself (Ethan Grotheer) as we talk day by day experiences bear hunting and some fishing tales. All 4 of us got our bears too! Its a long one (With a few interruptions), but it’s a good one!
Another stellar member of the UBM, Ken Webb managed to hop on the mic and retell some javelina and custom bow stories. It’s a great talk that you’ll wanna hear.
This time we talk about Rick’s largest Frizzly, elk, and his philosophy on shooting and gear. It was quite a pleasure!
The Black Bear man of the UBM, Larry Hesterly. We talk, yes, mostly bears, but also, antelope, mule deer, and elk. It’s a great discussion!
What an episode with of the most sincere-hearted men I know, Larry Bauman. Larry has a vast part in and knowledge of the history of archery, and quite a few hunting tales as well. You don’t want to miss out on this one!

This week, Ryan, Ethan, and our good friend, John White catch up. We cover He and Ryan’s recent elk hunt, past elk hunts, John’s bull from last year, and even Ethan’s recent archery buck. The common theme seemed to be how we as hunter’s have to carry ourselves when things don’t work out the way we planned. John will be back on the podcast soon with even more stories!

In this episode we sit down with Bob Burns. Bob has been an active member and board member for the UBM for the past 21 years, and of many other national and state organizations. Bob is quite knowledgeable about out of state hunting, points, and understanding each state’s draw system.
This week we are honored to have Dr. gray on our show. He is an active member of the UBM board of directors, and has quite an extensive history in the archery industry. From the original marketing of the camo shirt to caribou hunting in Quebec, this is not an episode you’ll want to miss!
We are joined this week by Mr. Tim Donnely. Another seasoned veteran of our sport who has accomplished a lot in his career as a bowhunter. Tim is also passionate about bowhunting organizations such as the UBM and Pope And Young, which he is an official measurer of. We talk first deer, bears, and even a little unorthodox javelina hunting in this episode, so please enjoy!
We are honored to embark on our maiden Voyage for this podcast with the one and only, Larry Hudson! Larry is a founding member of the UBM and a bowhunter who has accomplished quite a few extraordinary feats in the field. Larry is going go share on the history of the UBM, his most recent Black Widow bow purchase from last year’s festival auction, and the elk and whitetail he took with that bow. We think you are really going to enjoy this episode!
